Test every loan and the pool
Data reconciliation
Try it now in the free tape check.
A payment that doesn't match the note terms, a maturity date keyed off the wrong term, or a current balance above the original. ProvenPool checks that the numbers on the tape agree with each other, and with the systems behind them.
The problem
Tape-integrity exceptions are among the most common findings in third-party diligence reviews. Each one turns into a back-and-forth with the buyer and a question about every other field.
How it works
- Recomputes the level payment from balance, rate and term, and flags payments outside your tolerance.
- Checks that maturity agrees with origination date plus term, and that remaining term agrees with maturity.
- Flags current balances above original balance and origination dates after the cutoff.
- Three-way reconciliation of tape, servicing system and documents (design-partner build).
How it compares
Third-party diligence firms check tape integrity for buyers, usually on a sample of loans. ProvenPool checks every loan on the seller's side first. See the full comparison
